Name: Marion Ficke

Location: Greenbelt, MD

Pledged: Spring 1968

Favorite KTG Memory: There are many so it's hard to say which would be my favorite. Pledging was a bit different then but so much fun - even though we had to wear those BIG red bows on our heads. Singing on the steps of the "Social Center" as pledges was even fun. And there was something called "Derby Day" on St. Patrick's Day that I can tell you all about. We had parties - and the "Gamma Gasser" with ADG. Even Hell Night was fun. For me I guess the best part is that I've been able to be a part of KTG for all these years!A

Favorite KTG Tradition: Again, I'm not sure what would be my favorite. Writing in Finarkin like it was a diary is something that has provided a lot of good memories over the years. KTG SONGS! I still want to try to teach current sisters some of the ones that have been forgotten.

Favorite KTG Memory: To many to think of, all the sister weekends, sitting on the ferry from the statue of liberty and attempting to play a game. Singing to a random stranger in the Walmart in West Virginia so my team would gain more points on our KTG scavenger hunt (which should totally become a tradition btw!) Being pledge mistress and president to the best girls ever!! It was all worth it, I know I might have complained at times, but I love you all so much!

Favorite KTG Tradition: All of the I-Week activities really bring the sister's together, as does Sister Weekend. And I really loved doing Relay for Life, that was an amazing time and it felt wonderful to do something good for people and spend time with sisters as well.

Favorite KTG Tradition: Tap Night

Name: Stephanie Diaz aka Sister T-Funk

Location: Silver Spring, MD

Pledged: Fall 2002

Favorite KTG Memory: A My best memories revolve around the time I was pledging. I was very outgoing so for the formal Pledge Class Spaghetti Dinner I got the guts to freestyle to Run DMC's "It's Tricky"...it was pretty chaotic. Other fun memories just involve us bonding and having fun and enjoying even the most tedious tasks that were handed to us as pledges.

Favorite KTG Tradition: Tap Night was very exciting and as much as people dread it – I-night is awesome when you are already a sister.

Favorite KTG Memory: The sisterhood retreat when I was a pledge when we drove out to some mountains in Virginia. Favorite KTG Tradition: Getting a big sister

Name: Rebecca Ambrose aka Sister Kermit

Location: Silver Spring, MD

Pledged: Fall Semester 2002 (my sophomore year)

Favorite KTG Memory:  During my pledge class's I  week. We got a list of things we needed to find, and so we decided to combined a few things. Just thinking about it still makes me laugh to this day!

Favorite KTG Tradition: I like the tradition of having big and little sisters. It gives the pledge someone to help them through pledging (and sometimes life in general) and it helps the big sister pass on the traditions and values of the sorority. The spaghetti dinner is a close second, and I hope that the sisters do another Tea, I missed the last one because of a prior commitment, and I'd really like to meet with everyone again!

Name: Ann Sellers aka Sister Magnolia

Location: Hamburg, NY

Pledged: Fall 2000- I was the only pledge that made it

Favorite KTG Memory: That would be the sister weekend where we went to a spa in Pennsylvania. We stayed at a sister's house and her mom made us really yummy food, and the spa itself was amazing! Each room was a different jeweled theme. And of course it was great for bonding!

Favorite KTG Tradition: I- Night- it was a great feeling when the pledges became sisters. It meant a lot to me that two of my biological sisters also joined KTG. Also pledge books. Sadly I lent mine out to my little and never got it back! If anyone knows where it is & could pass it along that would be great!

Name: Jessica Tellis aka Sister BT

Location: Towson, MD

Pledged: Spring 2005

Favorite KTG Memory: Everything during pledging, and especially during that last week! Also, sister weekend in WV and Bmore.

Favorite KTG Tradition: I I loved putting together my pledge book.

Name: Deirdre Fullham Walsh aka Sister Mary Dwyer

Location: Bear, DE

Pledged: Spring 1981

Favorite KTG Memory: So many to chose from! I think the concept of "tradition" was the favorite memory that weaved all our activities together. Pledge activities - midnight raids and runs, pledge trips - ice cream at baskin robbins! My favorite memory centers around the friendships I built as a sister of KTG and how those friendships have survived to this day.

Favorite KTG Tradition:  Well, back in the 80's we did have a little more fun with our pledges and my favorite pledge trip was to Baskin Robbins - we always had so much fun on that trip and it really kicked off the semester and friendships. But my favorite tradition is probably the rose ceremony.
